Freedom as a psychotherapist...
Hi! My name is Freedom (really!). One of my joys in life is to help millennial and generation z women transform their lives with every challenge they encounter one session at a time.
I help them become emotionally fit. One of my power tools is the practice of self-compassion.
As a person who has experienced a lot of adversities in life, I am no stranger to suffering.
My specialty is in helping women overcome depression and anxiety due to: abandonment issues, relationship issues, perfectionism, horrible break ups, poor time management, life transitions and childhood traumas.
I was able to overturn these same issues and radically change my life. These same problems ignited my desire to help people suffer less and love themselves more. Hence, I chose to take the role of psychotherapist to do just that.
I grant my clients permission to trust in their own abilities to make bold shifts in their behaviors. According to those I’ve worked with, I bring light to their problems with compassion, wit, and a lifetime of tools.
At a family mental health clinic I was recognized by a supervisor, staff and clients as the most approachable and in-demand therapist.
The modalities I use in my practiced are western psychology (such as cognitive behavioral therapy) combined with eastern healing techniques.
I also possess the affinity to support clients with diverse spiritual backgrounds. I utilize their own spiritual and/or religious belief in order for them to hold onto their faith during challenging times.
I look forward to humbly offer the space, compassion, and techniques to help you obtain a healthy mind, and manage effectively the rough times.
